The Alocasia is commonly known as the Elephants Ear and comes in many varieties, this one being the Dwarf Amazonica. This plant has very deep green leaves with striking silvery pale veins and an unmistakable V shape. In its native habitat it can grow to 2 metres tall but potted, the growth will be limited to the size of the pot. This plant enjoys a bright spot with morning or non-direct sun and will die off to two to three leaves in the cooler months.
