The Oxalis purpurea Garnet is a variety of Oxalis that starts with green leaves that deepen to a deep purplish red a they age and increase in size. Each stem has a leaf in three sections. A type of Wood Sorrel, the plant grows small bright pink flowers and is happy growing in the cooler months, flowering more from June to October. The plant likes an extremely bright direct sun position or outside in full, non-burning sun, and can dry between waters. It’s leaves will follow the sun and close at night. This plant is propagated and grown by Verdant Dwellings.
