The Piggyback Plant or Tolmiea Menziesii, has a mid green leaf with a furry texture. It is named the Piggyback as the leaf base is where a new leaf bud will grow from meaning that to propagate, the leaf only needs to be pushed into the soil to root. If left potted it will continue to grow ‘piggyback’ leaves and trail over the sides of the pot. It likes a bright indirect light position and to dry out between waters. This plant can be grown outdoors in a shaded and cool position as a perennial groundcover.
