Pilea Peperomioides

Pilea Peperomioides

The Pilea Peperomioides, sometimes known as the Chinese Money Plant, is a flat round leaved vine plant with each leaf on the end of a long stem. Each leaf grows from the centre of the vine and if left the vine will grow towards the light, however, if staked on bamboo and turned, the vine will grow straight. As the plant matures it produces ‘babies’ that can be removed to create new plants. This plant likes a bright position out of full sun, a snug pot and to dry out between waters. THE FLOWER PICTURED IS FOR REFERENCE, PLANTS PURCHASED MAY NOT CURRENTLY BE IN FLOWER.
